- My Tommy Poem was Utter Garbage and you know it! - The rewrite of my first poem for the class
- I’ve got 350 APM like I’m the child of Boxer and Woody Woodpecker - This one is a product of an exercise I was given when my teacher didn’t show up for class. It’s an exercise where we had to include twenty different things in the same poem. I’m surprised how well I included them all and kept a single story flowing. Enjoy!

- Fornication in Sleeping Haikus - Five connected haikus I wanted to write, followed by give I had to write
- Reflection One: I fear the Great’s Kool Aid - The first in a series of poems based on my reactions to class and the “great” poetry masters
- O Poetry Blues! How you slay me! - Poetry written while listening to blues and jazz
- Nature and Undead - A more serious, yet still crappy, attempt at a poem written during a nature walk.
- Cooking Up Mac-n-Cheese with Dane - A poem for my poetry teacher’s daughter. Apparently she likes macaroni and cheese and Dane Cook
- I Have a Dream - What do zombies have to do with MLK? Nothing, but you should still read it
